This Nationally Recognised unit teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. It applies to all persons who may be required or would like to be skilled to provide CPR in a workplace, community or their own home. Call for help or ask another person to send for help - Call 000. Ask someone to get the Defibrillator.

A - Airway

Learn how to ‘check and clear’ the airway. Also learn how to ‘open’ the airway.

R - Response

Learn how to check for response from the patient by talking and touch.

D - Danger

Learn to check for danger to yourself, bystanders and the patient.

C - CPR

Learn how to perform CPR correctly from positioning your hands on the patient to performing compressions.

B - Breathing

Learn for to check for breathing - how to look, listen and feel before commencing CPR

D - Defibrillation

Learn how to properly attach a defibrillator to the patient and use it.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Classes - $138

This course applies to a wide range of settings where first aid emergencies may occur. It is relevant for workplaces, education, around the home or other social or community environments. It covers the skills and knowledge required to provide quality CPR and an effective First Aid response for a range of medical conditions and trauma. Courses are provided from the comfort of your work or school premises from $138/person.
